Triangle Youth Hockey NC and The Triangle Sportsplex Team Up To Collect Gear For Hurricane Katrina Victims

Triangle Youth Hockey of North Carolina (TYHNC) and the Triangle Sportsplex located in Hillsborough, NC are teaming help to help get the Hockey Playing Victims of Katrina back on the ice.

The Triangle Youth Hockey Press Release states:

"To help replace the equipment lost or damaged, TYH-NC, in conjunction with the Triangle Sportsplex, is collecting used and outgrown equipment to ship to those in the area. A collection bin will be located at the Sportsplex, behind the skate rental counter for the next month.

TYH-NC is a member of the Southeastern region of our parent USA Hockey organization - just like the teams and players in New Orleans and Mississippi.

Along with the other contributions you might have made to those effected by the hurricane, please consider donating hockey equipment to our neighbors in the Gulf Coast states."

If you are not in the Triangle area of North Carolina, you can also step up and help in your community. Youth athletics are a vital part of most communities, whatever sport you participate in. Your support will help these communities through the difficult recovery period.
